Can this emergent space for art and performance create new perceptions of space and place in an audience? <\/li><li>New mobile technologies seem to offer a unique opportunity to break the determinist &#8220;male&#8221; control of narrative. \/\/ More decentred and subtle narrative mapping.<\/li><li>Relation between GPS, wireless location services, surveillance tech all define data space. Surveillance: observe every point at every time. <\/li><li>Maps are by their nature an uneasy mix of the subjective and objective. The map reflects the mapmakers concerns and subjectivities. <\/li><li>Projects: Locative media workshop \/\/ Urban tapestries<\/li><li>New technology is also capable of producing powerful interactive spaces, but even sophisticated site-specific locative work can fall down over the issue of content.
